Hearing Health Today is an educational and thought-provoking nine-episode podcast series that explores the key challenges, trends and opportunities in the delivery of hearing care today, and into the future. The podcast features hearing health experts from across the globe.

Episode 1

The first episode, Staying Connected in Challenging Times, includes an exclusive interview with Professor Helen Cullington from the University of Southampton, UK, one of the world leaders in tele-audiology. The episode explores what changes in practice have occurred with the COVID-19 pandemic, what professional tools exist in the hearing space and what resources are available to help patients reduce their fear of isolation.

Episode 2

In the second episode of Hearing Health Today, The Rise of Telemedicine, Dr. Allison Biever discusses what telemedicine is, how clinics can utilize it and what challenges and opportunities are in store for the future of hearing health care.

Episode 3

Episode three, The Standard of Care for Hearing Loss, features Professor Holly Teagle’s latest clinical research and explores how to address the growing hearing loss epidemic. Additionally, Dr. Leo De Raeve, Scientific Adviser of the European Association of Cochlear Implant Users, as well as Associate Professor Robert Briggs, Head of Otology and Medical Director of the Cochlear Implant Clinic at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Australia, will examine a broader perspective on why standard of care is crucial.
