Cochlear is excited to offer a new Audiology Online course series: Foundations of Baha® Implants. This 3-part educational program is designed for audiologists who are new to working with Cochlear™ Baha Systems and covers the fundamentals of Baha technology, as well as candidate selection and programming considerations. These CEU- accredited courses are each 1-hour long, delivered live via Audiology Online.

Foundations of Baha Implants: Baha 5 Technology

After attending this course, participants will be able to list the features and benefits of Baha Systems, including Baha 5 sound processors. They will be provided with information about choosing sound processors and accessories for patients based on pre-operative testing. 

 

Foundations of Baha Implants: Candidacy

After attending this course, participants will be able to determine if someone is a candidate for Baha systems, including the Baha Connect and Baha Attract Systems. Topics will include testing for candidacy, counseling potential candidates and demonstrating Baha systems.

 

Foundations of Baha Implants: Fitting Baha Sound Processors

Presented by Bryan McDonald, Au.D.

Wednesday, June 19, 2019 @ 12:00pm EDT

After attending this course, participants will be able to fit Baha 5 sound processors to patients with Baha Connect and Baha Attract implants. Topics will include surgical aftercare, connecting the device, programming considerations and follow up care.
